Application Process TESS Funding
This brief guide explains the process of applying for TERECONET funding for classroom-based research. This funding is specifically reserved for TERECONET Summer School affiliates. For other funding opportunities, please refer to the appropriate websites.
Step 1: Preparing your supporting documents.
Application Form: Provide essential information about yourself and your proposed research project.
Research Proposal Template: Use this structured template to outline your research question, rationale, methodology, timeline, budget, and ethical considerations.
Marking Rubric: Familiarize yourself with the criteria used by the selection committee to evaluate applications.
Curriculum Vitae (CV): Prepare a CV for each investigator involved in the project, highlighting relevant teaching experience, research experience, and qualifications.

Step 2: Submit your documents to the Director of TERECONET.
Combine Documents: Combine all completed documents (Application Form, Research Proposal, CVs) into a single PDF file.
Submit Electronically: Submit your application package electronically to the Director of TERECONET, Mr Vu Tran-Thanh, at thanhvu0304@gmail.com .
Step 3: Revise your documents.
Respond to Feedback: The Director of TERECONET will review your application for completeness and adherence to guidelines. If necessary, you may be requested to revise and resubmit your documents based on feedback provided.
Step 4: Notification of decision.
Review by Selection Committee: The selection committee will thoroughly review all eligible applications received by the deadline.
Decision Notification: All applicants will be notified of the selection committee's decision via email.
Step 5: Receive your funding.
Funding Agreement: Successful applicants will receive a formal Funding Agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the award.
Funding Disbursement: Upon signing the Funding Agreement, the approved funding will be disbursed according to the agreed-upon schedule and procedures.
